I always wash my own car.

    If you take your car to one of these roadside places then there is a good chance that you are supporting;

    a)tax evasion
    b)the criminal underworld
    c)illegal immigration and economic migrants
    d)benefit fraud

Car washes are the new kebab shop
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I never use the Kurdish Car Wash as I don't fancy my car being scrubbed with all the grit from the brush that's just cleaned the Land Rover in front of me.

In summer I do our cars myself, in winter they both go to the local handwash place, been going for years and never any problems but I only get it washed / liquid polish ect never inside done.
Our local guys are Asian (it being Bradford) but always do a good job and the place is always packed.
The owner normally does the final polish spray and if the lads have missed anything at all he gets them back to clean it.
Cost is £5 / car (wife gets a 4x4 in a month and I think they are £6)
Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy

I take my car to these guys once a month for the "Ne Plus Ultra" service :

Costs over 2 grand a pop, but I think it's worth it to keep my old Metro looking good :rotfl:

Supermarkets are doing this more and more now. Seen it in sainsburys and asda, Wonder whether they are employed by sainsburys or outside consultant.

Must be the most boring job ever. Hard work, no teamwork (everyone works solo).

At least the car wash places have a group of people and they can sit around and chat during off periods. There's a car was place near where I live about 5 Eastern Europeans to one car. They turn each car around fast.

Like a f1 pit stop operation they're all hands on deck as soon as a car comes.

What's the point, it will only get dirty again.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
