Enter loads & just forget about them. Some may come back.
Plus maybe try the effort type comps as they will probably have less entries.0 -
You have to adopt a plodding mentality to your comping, just keep at it until you get a win.0

Thanks guys0

How many are you entering ?
Are you varying your method.. Facebook, Twitter, web, text, dailies, postal etc ?
Are you just entering for large prizes ? Try to enter for some of the smaller prizes too.
Stick at it, enter and forget about them. your time will come0 -
I started at the end of December 2013 and I know I have been incredibly lucky with my wins. I do a lot of what gizmobenny says above.
I "end date" comp, so I have the comp posts sorted by end date and I'm a couple of days ahead, so today I'm entering comps ending on the 13th (I always have a quick check back and the ones ending today just in case there's something good come up last minute). I'm not saying its the best way to do it or it improves your chances, and there are a lot of people with much more experience on here, but it seems to work fine for me.
I always scan through them first and enter anything thats a big prize. Then I go through and enter smaller ones I'd really like to win (chocolate, or nail polish). Then I enter as many others as I have time for (provided I'm interested in the prize). I enter via facebook, twitter, email, forms on websites etc. and I've won via all these methods too so its definitely worth mixing it up.
Also, look for smaller local comps, maybe tickets to things or meals out, they usually have a much lower entry rate so this might help??
Keep at it, your win will come when you least expect itGood luck!

How long have been comping ElenaMorgan? I have been at it now for just over 3 months doing them most evenings and have only won a few ugly koalas, £50 of lovely shopping vouchers and a watch which I have not yet received as only just won that one. I say 'only' but I am thrilled with the wins so far and check my emails quite obsessively three times a day just in case
I don't enter many small prize comps as I can't be bothered to do them for tiny prizes. The daftest one I have seen so far was for one prize of one bottle of Zoflora disinfectant! Crazy.

Thanks for the tips. I try to enter as many as possible everyday. I was unsure about Mag dailies though as it says you have to be on the electoral roll?? Is this right?0

How many is that, though?
For a lot of us, that is 300+ comps a day - the more you enter, the more likely you are to win.I was unsure about Mag dailies though as it says you have to be on the electoral roll?? Is this right?
I'm not sure, but... you should be on the electoral roll anyway, as it is one of the things credit checks pick up on. Elsewhere on the boards, you can read lots about people refused credit for not being on the roll.0 -

I think it depends how much you want to win... For me, the smaller prizes are the daily bread and butter, just waiting for the bigger wins to come along as jam to go on top
If I need it, want it, or will use it, I enter for it. No matter how small - Roboform makes light work of filling in forms, so my bottle of Zoflora, for example, would have cost me fifteen seconds of my time, but is worth £1-1.50...
If the OP is only entering for larger prizes (say upwards of £10-20 in value), the odds of winning will be significantly reduced.0
