Brought from AVON & UPS delivered to the wrong house

I brought some items from the avon website last night and today I received a tracking number from the website so I could track my order. It says it has been delivered today, to an address in somerset! I live in yorkshire AND my address was correctly written when I placed the order and it even says on the shipping page that the recipient's address is mine yet the tracking shows delivered to a buyer with a different name in somerset! Avon use UPS to deliver parcels so what an incompetent fool who doesn't realise that somerset is miles and miles away from north yorkshire!!!!
We rang avon on their phone number on the website and got through to an indian call centre where the woman on the other end spoke in not very good english. After going round in circles with her, we asked for the manager and someone confirmed that my parcel would be with us in 5 days and said the information on their website about the parcel was wrong. They said to check on the UPS website as that would provide the correct information about the delivery and surprise surprise, that says delivered to that town in somerset too!
So it's obvious UPS have f****d up and sent not only to the wrong town, but also to the wrong county. Avon said we have to wait 5 days before ringing again but why do I have to wait when their courier has already sent to the wrong address!
I also don't trust them as the call centre staff were useless!
Does anyone know of a UK number that goes to avon so we can talk to someone who might understand what we are saying?

Please tell them you BOUGHT it then.0 -
It's probably not your parcel that went to Somerset. Either the wrong tracking number was given to you, or the same tracking number has been used in error for another parcel.
As far as waiting five days goes - did you pay for an express delivery service? If not, the five days is probably to allow for your order to be delivered.
Also, brought = past tense of 'to bring' not 'to buy' which is 'bought'. It's worth using the correct word because the wrong one can change the meaning of what you are saying and cause confusion.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
And you said the Indian woman spoke 'not very good English'
Dear me! I bet hers was better than yours!0 -

Seems like you have the wrong tracking number. That's all...
And no a courier doesn't check anything, if the label states x it goes to x.0
