Hello everyone!
Please can some kind soul answer the following question for me. Basically I have sold my house and had an offer accepted on another. However, my husband is away til October and will be unable to get back to sign the contracts. Is it necessary for him to be there? Would I be allowed to take the contract with me and when i go and see him get him to sign them and then return it to the solictor when i come home again?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Doozergirl is correct! Might also be worth talking to the solicitor to see if there's any other paperwork you need him to sign at the same time, such as Mortgage Deeds etc, or see if you should get him to give you Power of Attourney (sp??) for the time he's away.0
