Child tax credits payment?

How does child tax credits work at this time of the year? As our usual payment doesn't seem to have come through

Hi I was looking for a similar answer. My tax credit payment is a few pounds more this week. Is it to do with the budget and new tax year?0

Yes it is. If you look at the end of last years renewal it tells you want payments are now until this times renewal is done. They get sent out May or June I think and have to be done by end of JulyHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Thank you for your reply. Ive claimed tax credits for years and can't remember payment changing and wondered if it is because of the new budget etc.
Haven't received our renewal pack yet but hopefully that'll give more info. Not like it bothers me the extra money but makes me suspicious haha!0 -
