help please-trading standards question
We have a mercedes which is 3 years and 5 months old.We bought it when it was 4 months old.We have had it serviced etc by mercedes.
It has developed a fault with the engine, aargghh!. Anyway Hubby took it to Mercedes today who say it may cost £1000+ to repair. They were very good in so much as the service manager said they'll speak to Mercedes and see if they will do it as goodwill as the car is only 5 months out of warranty and the particular problem should not have occured. If they do it as goodwill this would be great but if they don't where do we stand legally ???????Any advice gratefully received!!!!!!!
