Is there a big difference between purina and Proplan

I recently got invited to do a pet trial for Proplan. My cat really liked it. It seems expensive. I wondered how much it differed nutritionally from purina as it is made by same supplier.

Purina is a division of Nestle that makes lots of different foods:
Proplan
Purina One
Bakers
Felix
Beta
Go-Cat
Winalot
Bonio
So you can't really compare Proplan to Purina per se, just its other brands.0 -
Applaws dry or wet is vastly cheaper than ProPlan and so much more suited to a cat's nutritional requirements.
My workplace sells Proplan for £32 for 3kg!! Applaws is £11 for 2kg.
Proplan is one of those foods that is expensive and you'd think it was a premium great food for your animal but no, you may as well just feed the cheapest because it is awful stuff.0
