This is not the first time that this company have tried to pull the same stunt. I seem to remember a similar case concerning a car park in Colchester a couple of years ago. I think Herbie investigated it.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I did indeed but the outcome was that 'apparently' a MISTAKE had occurred and I was assured that it was an 'isolated' incidence. Clearly not !!!0 -
Thanks for all the advice everyone
I still have the voicemail on my phone i will record it - it is automated.
Nobody turned up within the 48 hour time scale (as threatened on the voice mail)
However i did receive another missed call during the week.
Should i be logging all incidents for my records?0 -
You can report them to the Civil Enforcement Association for threatening bailiffs in the absence of a court order: http://www.civea.co.uk/complaints.htm. Unfortunately you need to complain to Newlyn first.
You should complain to DVLA that VCS' debt collectors are in breach of the OFT debt collection guidance, therefore VCS are in breach of their KADOE contract with DVLA (yet again) and you want to know what DVLA is going to do about this. Send complaint here:
