            Thanks for the update, mrcow.
Sorry to hear about the kittens but hopefully Mum will soon be well.
Her 6 lottery numbers certainly came up when she found her way to you. :A
Keep us updated and I'm sure we'd all love to see some pics when she's recovered.0

Not only a bad time for the cat but for you as well with all the worry (and quite some expense.) Hope she gets over it soon, is up and about and then neutered.Sounds like she has landed squarely on all four paws with regards to her new owner.
Please keep us updated.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Sorry for the delay in updating, it's been an upsetting few days and I wanted to post when I had something concrete to say (I think sometimes it's useful to post updates for anyone searching the forums with similar issues).
She passed a second stillborn about 20 hours after the first.
She's had two ultrasounds and an x-ray and they think she still has a retained placenta so has had oxytocin and is on antibiotics.
They think the kittens could have died due to a viral infection not prevented because she's not been vaccinated. Without testing, we can't be sure. We have to wait 4-6 weeks before we can get her neutered. I'll get her microchipped and vaccinated before then (she's staying indoors until she's neutered anyway).
I just feel so upset for her. She's had such a rubbish time. But thank you to everyone who took the time to post and to the poster who PM'd me - the support was really appreciated.
I guess my parting comment to anyone reading would be to please ensure any animal you're responsible for is neutered and vaccinated. I wouldn't wish this cat's week one anyone else ever.
Poor little cat.Even if the kittens had been born alive they probably had little chance of survival. And the mother could have been at risk too if you hadn't taken her in.Thank you so much for being so caring.0

Aww, you are such a kind person Mrcow, I wish more were like you. Well done for taking such good care of her xxThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

lol I'm still the opinionated old crank you all know (and love?). I'm really not that nice . .
But yes, we are delighted to have her as a member of our household. We've never had a cat before and she's like having a fourth child (a tempestuous toddler at that!), and has us all running around after her. I certainly don't think she's anyone's fool!
Thank you everyone. "One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened." "One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0

Maybe the cat thinks otherwise!!lol I'm still the opinionated old crank you all know (and love?). I'm really not that nice . .
Have we met you on this board before? Please don't tell us we have formed the wrong impression of you!!
Anyway glad to hear "Cat" has servants and that she is progressing.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
