Legal Action if CRA refuses to update Electoral Roll information?

Hi all,
How would I force CallCredit to update information about me if it is wrong and I can prove that it is wrong?
Basically they're saying that I'm not on the Electoral Roll at my current address, and I am - to the point that I've proven it:
- I've confirmed with the local ER office at the council.
- I've provided proof in the form of a letter.
- I am showing with both Equifax and Experian as on the ER.
CallCredit are just point out refusing that they're data is wrong. I know for a fact that they asked for the information late from the local office, and can only draw the conclusion that they're still loading it.... But they're refusing to admit this.
So this puts me (and potentially others) in a situation whereby hopefully our information will be updated correctly - but what if it isn't? What action can be taken to force them to update my file so that they're holding and providing accurate information about me? And how long will all of this take?

No need to worry. Phoned them up, explained that I didn't want to raise a dispute but I seemed to be getting nowhere with the dispute process and was at a bit of a loss on how to progress... Nice lady I spoke to checked and found out that the data from our council was currently being loaded and would be complete by the end of next week.
When they're honest about the situation you know where you stand, and so I can leave them alone for a week before checking.0 -
Just ask the council to summit the information again!
The annual uploads are taking place about now.
So it may show within the next few weeks.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
