Working Compasses

Would any of you crafty people know where one might buy some working compasses for crafts. Something reasonably priced and decent quality. I've looked around for these but always end up finding companies in China or elsewhere, which seem to have minimum orders of at least 500.

Sounds stupid I know but not sure which kind of compass you are talking about!
Pairs of compasses for geometry etc or directional compasses for map reading etc?

Lots of designs under £3 each if you just put "compass" into Ebay.

Silva always used to be the brand name to look for if you wanted decent quality (i.e. you'd happily navigate with it). They do a carabiner compass for around £6, but it isn't crafty pretty IYSWIM.

I do a lot of orienteering, and like using compasses - GPS always seems like "cheating" to me!!

Thank you all very much for replying and for your suggestions. I'll take a look at that amazon link and also roll around ebay a while and see what I find. I may be back!
