Post IVA Credit File clean up

My IVA was finally successfully completed, after 6 years,in Dec 2013 and I received my certificate of completion last month.

I have checked my credit file with the three main agencies and there are still three defaults showing even though these were included in the IVA.I have contacted the companies and sent them copies of the completion certificate but none of them are responding to my requests to remove these defaults. Is this standard prctice?

Also the 'court information' section of my credit file still shows that the IVA is still active, even though it is no longer showing on the Insolvency Register.I have contacted the credit agencies and sent them the completion certificate but have hit a brick wall with them also.

Can anybody shed any light on whether this is normal behaviour post IVA? I thought that once the completion certificate was sent to all the relevant companies that all defaults/court info would drop off?

Try contacting the relevant big-three credit reference agencies. As long as you can prove everything, then they should remove them anyway.

I've contacted the three credit agencies, sent them a copy of my completion certificate and the defaults still remain.

I have also sent the completion certificate to the three companies that still have the defaults showing but I've drawn a blank with all of them. Very frustrating.

Write as per the link in that telling them to backdate the default to you IVA start date, which will in practice remove it from reports.

Tell them that if they don't or refuse them you will take them to both the ICO and FOS.
