Sick cat

Not experienced this before but our cat was off her food yesterday, doesn't seem to have eaten today and has just been a little sick. The sick seemed to be very grassy. She is wandering around and going outside still.
Would you take her to the vet or just keep an eye for a bit?

Cats eat grass if their stomach is upset.

If she hasn't been sick again I would wait otherwise take her to the vet.
  • My cat is sick every now and them and Ive just kept and eye one her, when it has happened she acts as her normal self so I've not been too worried and the vet has already told us she has a easy gag reflex. Why not ring the vet for some advice?

If it is a one off, could be hairballs.

If happens again/gets worse - pls take her to the vets

Thanks everyone, no sign of any more sick and she has been drinking water. Still seems pretty much her normal self otherwise.

If the sick was grassy, she's probably eaten some to make her sick as she has an upset tum as donnac has said. If she is her normal self, toiletting as normal and drinking etc and hasn't been sick since I would just leave her be :)
