PPI On Mortgage via an advisor! Is it worth claiming

I took out a mortgage in 2007 through an advisor based with the estate agency I bought my house though. I was told that I wouldn't be accepted for my mortgage if I didn't take critical illness & employment cover. I still pay these insurances but they are with a separate company. Do I have a claim? if so who do I contact? Thanks any advice greatly appreciated

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having insurance products to cover the mortgage.
Many mortgage brokers require you to purchase insurance via them to allow them to give free mortgage advice. That is an allowed business model. So, if you were to complain, they would look at whether you were suitable for them or not and most complaints on mortgage insurances get rejected as most people need the insurance that has been recommended.
You haven't indicated any wrongdoing so, it is difficult to see what you would be complaining about.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
