Devon would cost you about £160,000 (£180K if you didn't take Bideford)'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

And now you are an expert and fretting about property prices all over the UK:rotfl:
Day after day after day after day after day after day, month after month after month, year after year after year............ The same old message.
It is a wonderful day today, the sun is out, the open starts in Augusta, go out and enjoy just one day without worrying about property prices.
It must be awful to live with such constant fear over something that will not really effect your life one way or the other.
How fragile must your self esteem be?0 -

Was it me or you trolling Grant Shapps on Twitter over this thing that won't affect our lives one way or the other?

QUOTE=w00519772;discussion/4943772]I am in the process of buying this house: http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/30759842?search_identifier=e691527fd1fc6ac55b877d7892006bdc (terraced house). I prefer the house I am buying but I do not want to overpay.[/QUOTE]
What happened to your wrangling over the fault/repair costs?
If this is the house you prefer get on with it. You have put in an offer, it is accepted. Dithering over what, a couple of grand? In the scheme of things is it is negligible.
As chewy points out looking to constantly looking to reduce price, for spurious reasons, could make the EA lose confidence in you."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

What's Lincoln like to live in these days?
I grew up there and spent a few years living in the St Catherine's area before moving away in 2006, initially to Nottingham and thence Reading.
Wouldn't mind moving back to the Midlands eventually. It's a toss up between Lincoln or Nottingham. I'm more inclined to choose Nottingham, but my OH prefers Lincoln as she has family there.
IME it is is still an OK place but residential prices virtually flat. Good employment weak.
Nottingham, more central E Mids would appear stronger."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
