spark saying i was on monthly premium tariff when
Options
account details said i was on direct debit saver
when i asked why i wasn't on the direct debit saver already (since we pay by direct debit) - they said
"There are different tariffs for direct debits"
they then said i could pay £20 a month less if i moved to direct debit saver
when i said i was concerned that my account details were indicating the tariff i was on was already called 'direct debit saver' - she said - "The tariffs have been changed since the re-brand"
when i asked when this rebrand had taken place she said in March
is something fishy going on here? isnt it a bit of coincidence that ive only been on a higher tariff since last month?
have i been charged for monthly premium tariff when i was already on a direct debit saver?
thanks in advance

Hi Tir21
I'm sorry to hear there's been a bit of confusion over your tariff. If you're paying by Direct Debit then you should definitely be on our Direct Debit Advance tariff, which was previously known as the Standard tariff.
The Monthly Premium tariff (formerly known as Standard Plus) is for customers who choose to pay on receipt of a bill rather than by Direct Debit.
It's true that we've re-named our tariffs as part of our re-branding but if you have been consistently paying by Direct Debit then you should be on the right tariff.
If you want me to check things out then please email me using the address given in my profile.
Kind regards
