ESA and reconsideration

Is it only me that didn't know this or has this just been decided?

From Disability Rights UK

If you haven't claimed JSA or another benefit during the mandatory reconsideration period and you then appeal, the DWP will put your ESA back into payment soon as they get your appeal request from HM Courts and Tribunals Service, and as long as you provide the appropriate medical evidence (fit notes) to cover the appeal period. If you have backdated fit notes to cover the reconsideration period you should get backdated ESA for that period. - See more at: http://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/appeals-and-mandatory-reconsideration#sthash.UqihzUQu.dpuf
