Fiancee has poor credit. About to move

Hi,

I hope someone can help.

Me and my fiancee have been renting for a year now and are moving to a larger property. We are filling out the references and it says 'You must not have adverse credit in the form of a CCJ/Bankruptcy etc'

My fiancees credit score is poor but we are trying to figure out why and whether this would affect us moving in. Mine is fine.

Please help!

  • Does he have a CCJ/ Bankruptcy? If not you should be fine as LA's generally only check the public data. Do be prepared to explain your circumstances and offer extra rent up front though if required.

    Hi!

    Thank you for your response!

No he doesn't has any thing like that and I thought that was the case!

We have plenty of funds to offer extra if needs be so that's great.

    Thank you!!
