hi pls excuse the newbie:p my first post!! anyone know how much manweb is reducing their prices ,i received mail from them saying the prices are going down.!!!!! also mail from united util for offering a 3 months free plumbing and drainage emergencies so check it out.

Well, I am with Scottish Power for electricity only and I am on their Standard Domestic tariff. I received a bill last week which covers the supposed price-drop date of June 15th, but there has been no reduction whatsoever in the tariff prices charged. I rang Scottish Power to query this but the chap at the other end said that it was because I was not a dual fuel customer! I have not heard or read anything at all about this price drop only being for dual fuel customers, so I asked him if he could send me full details of this price reduction (which he said he would - but still waiting). I have also separately sent an email to Scottish Power via their web site to query this again, but so far no reply. Can any other SP customers confirm whether or not their tariff charges have been reduced from June 15th please?
