How accurate are Benefit Calculators

Hi
This is my first time here, so hi to you all. Lets hope someone can help please. The problem that I am facing at the moment is the amount of money I will receive from my HB claim. I have put all the exact details requested into various online Benefit Calculators which results in a weekly payment of HB of £21.50.
Now, I have received my Award letter that says my weekly payment will be £4.12. Has anyone else had a similar problem with these online Calculators. I just cannot believe they can be this inaccurate.
Cheers CougarKid
