Moving House - MOVE or GET NEW Services

I am moving house in around 10 days time and I have a dilemma, should I:
a) Migrate all my services (Sky, BT, Broadband, Tesco Online)
b) Take advantage of deals to new customers and set everything up fresh
a - is the hassle free route
b - seems to provide a lot of opportunities for good money saving
Opinions please?!

It'll be hassle either way. Chances are when you cancel you'll get a fresh new "offer" through retentions.0 -
There's no extra hassle on choosing a new provider, you'll have to provide your bank details but that's about it for the "extra" steps. For broadband you should pick a provider that has the best service in your new area (read reviews based on postcode), a provider can provide wonderful service in one area and truly abysmal service in another.
The only downside with cancelling an existing provider is the potential for cancellation fees if you're still in a fixed contract, however it's unlikely you are if you've lived in your current property for over 18 months. If you do switch your current provider they'll create a new contract for the new property so you won't retain your lack of a fixed term by sticking with your current provider.
You should arrange for your switch / new provider asap by the way, open reach often have 14 day waiting periods for install appointments so if you want broadband etc. set up around the time you move in you need to get a move on.0 -
But don't do what I did and arrange for the BT engineer to install phone and broadband on the afternoon of completion day. As I should have anticipated, he was waiting outside the new house whilst we were still packing up the old house and waiting for the solicitor's call.
Had to wait another two weeks before they would send another engineer out.0
