let it ride, you,ll get your chance to put it right on the further PoC if not, you can always apply for an amendment to your local court at a fee of £35guardian2020 wrote: »i used the interest calculater on here to calculate the interest on the default charges but i have submited the wrong amout on the court forms....i caculated the whole amount from 2001 then worked the 8% interest on the whole amount instaed of breaking it into individual charges...teach me not to read it doh!!! what the heck do i do now..the amount plus woops interest has been submitted to court, and Nationwide is defending the whole amount...should i tell the court or let it ride...Don't want to loose on a technicality....stupid me!!!! the original amount i submitted to the court was for 3,400ish but it should be 2,700ish...heck of a differarance...i am really worried now..should i just play stuuupid in court or is that gonna go against me for not preparing properly...it was a genuine mistake....the Nationwide has not entered their defence yet just said that they intend to defend...i wonder if it would be better to admit to it now and get it sorted now....seems silly to get to the court bit then have it thrown out due to my stupidity!!!! plus if nationwide think i am trying to pull a fast one on them maybe they actually will take it to court...omg what a mess plus dont really want to look stupid in court maybe even the judge will think i am trying to pull a fast one....0

Contact the courts, inform them of your mistake & ask if you can put it right, think it costs £35, number is ont the MCOL website

Dont do anything just yet....if it gets to court stage you will eventually be asked to submit evidence of your charges it is at this point that you can amend your mistake by submitting your original charge list for the court and defence to see and then by drafting up your new schedule of charges and a cover letter explaining your mistake....We arent solicitors and courts do realise that we laymen make errors, hence you will probably be asked to complete a further PoC...just make sure you get it absolutely correct before it enters court..Hope that helps, just shout on here or pm me if you need any other advice.guardian2020 wrote: »anyone any ideas???
