Cost to replace a ceramic hob

Hi,
I need to replace my ceramic hob, does anyone know what would be a reasonable price to remove the old one and install the new one? I have had one quote for £60 so far. I am in Manchester.
Thanks in advance!

Depends what is required in the installation. If it includes electrical installation (hard-wiring) by a qualified electrician, or any work related needed to change the size of the hole, then it's a reasonable amount. If it's a case of just unplugging the old one, lifting it out, dropping the new one in and plugging it in, then you could easily do it yourself; will take maybe 15mins.0
