looking at a vehicle registered in NI..but brought over here
is it possible to check its history ? here you can check the mileage against VOSA MOT records but does such a technique operate for NI? otherwise i guess pay for a RAC search/check?

Phone any of the garages on Boucher Way Belfast and one of them will have serviced it.0

All MOT's in NI are done at government centres. They have no incentive to be dishonest so at least you have that piece of mind. As for service history if a fairly new vehicle it should appear in the manufacturers database.0

is there a name of the garage on the number plate/tax disc holder or possibly a service sticker on the windscreen? if so ring the garage and hopefully they wont go all data protection on you and give you some history on it.0
