Egg Card V Egg Money Card

I'm just wondering which card you're most likely to be approved for, Egg card or the Egg Money card or would the score be the same for both no matter what?

Just trying to rebuild my credit rating. I was approved for an Aqua credit card not so long ago. (with small limit and high interest rate :rotfl:)

Thanks.

Both have a high credit score requirement, relative to other cards (one of the reasons they've been allowed to set default charges at £16, rather than the industry's now standard £12 figure).

However, and despite the Egg Card offering higher credit limits, I believe the Egg Money card would have a higher scoring requirement because, at 7.9% APR (typical), it's interest rate is around half that of the Egg Card (ie priced for risk).

Your use of the word "rebuild" implies you have had problems in the past. If so, I'd probably try another provider until any defaults/significant number of late payments have fallen by the wayside and the reporting of your Aqua card has established a pattern of regular payments on your credit history.

Thanks for the reply, yes I've had problems in the past but all under control now and no late payments/defaults for over a year now.
