What to look for when buying an induction hob

Please take into consideration that because there's no heat escaping around the side of the pans it's advised to mount your extractor at the smallest advised distance above the hob. Reason being is that with gas, the rising hot air from the sides of the pan helps carry the smoke/water vapour into the extractor whereas with induction you don't have this. I'd also advise on a more powerful extractor than you would use with gas too for the same reason.0
