can ppi be claimed after death

Options
My husband had a range of credit cards, which he used regularly and repaid in full every month.

I'm sure he would have paid ppi and fees on everything, but can we claim after his death in 2009?

If he paid off the amounts in full every month, why are you even thinking about making a claim on the PPI he always purchased?

Or to put it another way, if the balance is paid off every month, no PPI will have been charged.

If he always paid off the credit card each month, no PPI would have been payable.
You say you're "sure" he would have paid PPI and fees, but unless you have documentation clearly showing this you'll have to write a Subject Access Request (SAR) to each credit card company to find out what they have on file from your late husband's finances. At £10 a time, this could prove expensive if it turns out he didn't pay any PPI or the Bank no longer have any records.

How are you sure when he paid it off in full every month? In most cases, PPI is only payable when the debt goes past the interest free period. If paid in full, most card providers do not levy the PPI.
