ESA Medical evidence ESA50

Have a question on medical evidence for ESA50. I have old (about 15/20 yrs old) written medical evidence re my condition from when I've seen docs when I was on SDA. My condition is the same now as it was then. Is it worth actually sending that in to Atos/DWP now or not as proof that I've had my issues for years? Or is it really worthless as it is "not current evidence" if you get my gist. Any comments welcome. Thx.

I think that you know already. It is far too old and even if you yourself know things are the same, a report of that age would not be accepted unless you can get a covering letter from the doctor to say that the earlier evidence is still valid.

Yes, I did think that, but I also thought if someone else had actually said "yes, I did that & Atos thought it ok" or "it helped", it may be a goer.
Also, I thought it does actually back up my comments on my ESA50 that I have had my condition for a long time. ie written signed proof that all those yrs ago I was as I claim I was.
That's why I floated the question. Thanks for your reply.

I tend to think that it depends what your condition is/was. If it was me I would send this old evidence particularly if it's obvious your condition won't have changed. The ESA50 enables you to expand on this. I'm guessing you have seen Doctors etc since your first diagnosis, have you continued to need medication or therapies, these can act as a back up of evidence.
Make sure you send a current letter or back up your old eveidence within the descriptors. As far as I can see the more info they have the better.
