My elderly parents have just found a paying in book from the BBS which no longer exists. This dates back to 1978 and they are quite certain that they never drew out there remaining balance of wait for it..... £2.11 does this money still exist or are they clutching at straws do you think..

    It will do somewhere - have a look at the lost accounts tracing page HERE.

    FYI £2.11 in 1978 is worth about £8.50 applying RPI and should be into double figures applying savings interest rates - so don't crack open the bubbly if you do find it for them!!
