We have laminate in our lounge and hall way. Between them around the door is a metal thing covering the gap between laminate or whatever purpose it serves.
Anybody know what this is called ?

Sometimes also known as a transition bar/strip.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Wicked thanks. Door bar and door strip seem to bring a good qty of results.
Trying to find one like this if anybody has seen this style?

GOLD 0.9m Door Bar/Trim/Threshold by Dural0 -
Design wise it looks perfect.
But it has a funky groove underneath - the one we're replacing is flat and stuck down0 -
Google 'threshold strip profile' or similar terms to find a supplier who stocks different ... Profiles.
I would have thought any decent flooring supplier would have oodles of them
Try browsing google images rather than text results0 -
May be stuck down, may be done with a ratchet type plastic groove (difficult to describe, and my attempt was fairly rubbish) get down to B and Q or similar and have a look in the laminate floor section, and you'll easily find similar items.Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0
