YES - I just got that email too.

My heart was literally pounding until I got to the last line. My children will be happy with the soft toy though

The worst ones are when they say 'competition winner' or 're. xxxxxx competition' and then say, the winner was 'john smith' or some other random name. :mad:

Oooh I hate those! They're usually from someone's real name at the company too, which makes it seem even more like you've won. Then you open it, find John Smith has won it instead, and it's just them offering you 10% off some gubbins.

I'm always caught out on 'congratulations winners' then i open the email to find a list of beauty products/fashion items/bathroom furniture which has won an award! lol
