just phoned bcw to find out why i owe £11,296 pounds, they said i had a credit card in 1999 for £5,000 and i have accrued interest of over £6,000 i,m 67 on a pension,i will finish the debt when i,m 87,is there anyway i can get them to scrap the interest ?

What prompted you to ring them? Did they send you a letter?
If so what did the letter say.
Don't agree to pay them anything at the moment.
Do you remember having this credit card? when did you last use it/ pay anything towards it do yu think?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
