Jsa - My Claimant Commitment and My Work Plan

Having now finished the Work Programme, I've been given the above (Basically a new jobseekers agreement retitled and an amalgamated looking for work book with the attendence information book).

I wondered what the so called support given by the now retitled Coach (Personal Advisor) will actually consist of ?.

Can anyone fill me in so to speak and any comments about your experiences would be good to.

Thanks.

Did you not ask at the interview?
Basically will depend on what route you have been put on, when did you last work? What skiils and qualifications you have, what barriers you have? What help you need.
TBH impossible to give you an answer but the adviser (i hate the word coach) will work with you and depends how much help you actually want.

Just checked your previous posts, youve asked this question before and been given some info already, any reason you asking same question again?

My previous post about the Fifteen points to work was based on information given to me at my signing on appointment of the 18/03/14.

I subsequently attended an appointment on the 07/04/14 where I was given the now retitled looking for work book and jsa agreement.

I was seen by a lady who conducted the initial appointment but couldn't answer any questions I asked of her.

My so called claimant commitment had been written out before we had even discussed it with increased steps per week plus the dreaded universal jobmatch usage had been inserted although I was told the jobcentre like you to use it, it wasn't a jobseekers directive.

I was looking for responses from people in the same boat who could enlighten me to their dealings.

    Hope this helps.

OK, read your commitment, there is a paragraph on there that states about your rights if you disagree with what is detailed on there. I suggest you go back to your adviser and ask for the agreement to be looked at by a DM. Your adviser will complete a CC with what she feels is appropraite, you have the opportunity to do the same and you list your reasons why you feel yours will give you best prospects of seeking employment. Both copies go to a DM and they decide whose copy will be accepted. Sometimes this will involve a malgimation of the two. Your money is not effected at all whilst the DM look at the agreements. Once the DM makes the decision you will have 4 weeks to both sign and agree what the DM has decided. If you disagree and do not sign the agreement within the four weeks your claim will close. The adviser will also have to adhere to the steps agreed and if the DM agrees no UJ activity then fair enough.
