Service for boiler, cylinder and solar panel

We have lived in our new build home for one year and need to have servicing done as this is one of the terms of the 5 year warranty. We have been told we must have our boiler, cylinder and solar panel system (which provides hot water only) serviced.


Can I find anyone that does this? If I Google it, it comes up with lots of details about solar panels but no links to people who service it. British Gas said they don't service cylinders (?) before I even got round to asking about the solar panel system.


I have tried the company that installed it, but they don't seem to want the custom that much - one time I phoned and was told the clerk was going home in 5 minutes and didn't want to take the call and since then she has always been busy when I phone.


Anybody got any ideas?

Contact a local independent GSR RGI (assuming that it's a gas boiler). There isn't much servicing you can do to a solar hot water panel or cylinder. If it's an unvented cylinder then you must get an RGI who is qualified to work on them.
Or why not ask the manufacturer if they have a local agent?
