Doesn't work for me, sadly. I share my name with a very successful rugby player - so unfortunately whenever I search for my name & 'won', 'win', 'winner' or even 'competition' it regales me with all his recent team or international exploits!
I'm also the chairman of the IOC, a professional sportsman, one of Vauxhall's chief designers, and regularly on an art competition judging panel.
I couldn't find myself on Google if my life depended on it!Wins of 2014: *zip*

One way to help reduce the unwanted search results is to use the minus sign to specify words to exclude (eg -rugby). Not foolproof but it helps a bit.
I have the same problem as I share my name with a famous designer and a singer in a rock band (both of whom frequently win awards!)0
