I think the extra money would be SERPS as margaretclare says. Due to dad's age mum would inherit 100% of them. Had a look at PC, she may get pennies due to some unbelievable complicated percentage and subtracting but pennies will do as it's the hb we would really like to keep for her but if she does not get it then there are six other wage earners in the immediate family who will pay it, she will not pay half her pension in rent.
