I want to transfer balance of a few grand to a new credit card.
ive seen lloyds card which has 1.5% transfer feee and 21-24 months 0% interest.
http://www.lloydsbank.com/credit-cards/platinum-card.asp
But after filling in my details it says;
Balance transfer details
Your maximum transfer limit is: £475.00
Does this mean i cant transfer the full amount?
Any one know a card i can transfer full amount to from halifax?

Is that because they're only offering you about £500. It would be worth trying to do a soft search with Barclaycard to see how much they could offer you. I think Money Saving Expert also has a tool which does the same thing0

What credit limit have you got on the card?Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
i think it must be c£500....otherwise the transfer limit would be higher, wouldn't it?0
