It is something to do with the electricity shorting through the circuit board and blowing that.
I was able to see the circuit board had blown so I bought a replacement for £50. Pluuged it in and the same thing happened.
Sold the dryer on ebay for 99p.0 -
I've never had a dyer that lasts more than a few years. I would find an alternative way of drying clothes if you can. I have just taken my last one to the tip.
I'm using the airing cupboard now after putting a rail up over the hot water tank. I don't know why I didn't do this years ago, it would have saved me a packet over the years.0
