CP Plus + DRP LTD

Hi all, I have been very impressed with all the information about these two companies on this forum but I have come to a situation that I cannot find any information about and was wanting some help/advice on the issue.
Last December (10/12/2013) I went to see my friend in Cardiff and Traveled from Basingstoke trainstation and parked in what I thought was a space. It was inbetween two cars near a corner of the car park and assumed that the lines had been rubbed out due to drivers cutting the corner over time. In February I received a letter from CP Plus saying I had not paid my fine and that I owed them money. I came in here and read that it's just an empty threat. I then received a letter from a company called Debt Recovery Plus (DRP) and they said They had been passed this debt and I have a set time to pay them.
Today I have received a letter from them saying that they will kindly reduce the amount I owe. Even though the expire date is two days ago.
They are threatening me with legal action and are saying that a court judgement against me could affect my credit ability in the future.
Any help would be most apprcieated with this issue. Should I still leave it or pay the reduced amount.
Cheers

If you've read other threads about this then you'll already know that DR+ can only send empty threats (threatograms). You may even get one with RED CAPITAL LETTERS soon too.
As you are in Ignore mode, stay there unless/until you get a Letter Before Action / Notification of Court Action or Court Papers themselves. (I'd be very surprised if you received any of these).0 -
Hi thank you for the help. I will keep this thread updated with any twists that happen but I'm sticking with the ignore mind set

CP Plus at a railway station are a bit 'different'. Have a look at the windscreen ticket if you got one at all (or look at the first letter). Does it talk about a 'PENALTY' Charge Notice? If so then search this forum for CP Plus Penalty railway' as keywords and read the few other threads like this one.
Yours is a bit different if it was a 'Penalty' as there would have been no appeal, no POPLA, and it is very muddy waters that CP Plus are hiding in with these.
CP Plus also clamp cars at stations as well, hiding behind byelaws.
Anyway read the other threads and maybe engage DRP in some banter to stretch the case out six months (you will know why when you read other threads).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
