police parking notice...unwise/expensive if I lose, to appeal?

    Many people were saying the same thing about parking eye when they started civil court cases I seem to remember ;) .
    Of course magistrates carries a risk, any court does, but if you are not guilty, then that is why we have courts.
    OP I would get the notice and head over to Legal Beagles forum to gain some advice.

    They are plenty of legs to stand on, it might even be council or private land and outside police authority to levy a FPN .
    Find out first, Legal beagles is best for this type of event.
