At the moment I do not work, I am a stay at home mum to my two and three year old daughters.
My partner works full time, he has started a new job today which will involve more money but his last years income was £15.5k, this could go up by 6kish this year.
If I were to go to work I'd be earning around £12k and our childcare costs I *think* would be £200 per weeks.
Having looked on the different calculators I am getting so many different amounts for how much help with childcare we would get, ranging from £170 per week to £275 per week.
Would everything still be based on last years income of £15.5k even though this year there will be a significant increase? I read somewhere it's based on this years minus £10k or something.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!
Just wondering if financially it would make me worse off to work.
Thanks

Thanks so much that's so helpful!!
So I'd make up the shortfall myself and hopefully still be better off at the end of the week/month.
