Amazon (direct, not seller) - self return ? (big item)

Hi,
I bought a tennis table from amazon (directly, not seller). But it's wobbly, not stable and poor quality. I tried to create a return but I get only the option to send it on my expense (It has 75kg it will cost a fortune)
I guess I lost my money, had no idea they don't collect they item if it's defective, I wouldn't have bought it online knowing this.
do you know what's the cheapest option to send this big item ? I am going to be at a loss

I have called customer services and they will arrange a collection, But I don't understand why online I only get the option to self return.0
