I want to put a photo into a word document and then add text across the top and down the side, perhaps even underneath. Sounds simple eh?Please can someone give me an idiot´s guide on how to do this. Thanx

1) type your text
2) click where you want the picture
3) click Edit->Insert->Picture from file
4) choose the file you want to insert
5) right click on the picture
6) choose 'layout'
7) select the picture which best represents the layout you desire
8) resize the picture (left click and hold on the corner of the picture)
No doubt if I have made a slight mistake in the instructions someone will correct me (I use a mac!)
Or use Google to search for better instructions with pictures:

In Word, click Insert - Picture - From file for the photo, and Insert - Text box for the text and type in the text. Depending on the size of the photo you might have to resize it within Word by selecting it and dragging the sides. Similarly, select and resize/drag the text boxes to the required positions.0
