    Morning all,

a late start for me today. I'd got plans for today so whilst 'Youngest' had an early night and hubby was doing his 'end of year accounts' I scooted round doing as much as I could do last night instead of doing it today. I'd got plans to go and see Mom you see but since its chucking it down and the retirement home she is in is about a mile away I decided against it. I don't mind the walk there and back but don't want to get drenched before I get there.

[strike]I need to collect my prescription after 12 and will pick up a note pad for hubby whilst I am out as he needs a new one.[/strike]Done

Not much else to do today. Still feel guilty about not going to see Mom but I don't want to go further down the 'guilt' road any more than I have to.

The new baby has settled in nicely at the Baby House. Hes only been there a couple of days and he's wound my daughter and her partner round round his little finger.

Tea tonight, well I haven't thought about it yet.

Thinking of our dear friends Molly and JackieO. Thinking too of Gonzo at his sisters funeral.

    Onwards and forwards,
    have a great day all.

    Afternoon all :)

First day of Easter hols here, so far I haven't threatened to throttle the kids yet so that's not bad going. We walked Luna (thank heavens I purchased wet weather gear for them both), I've hoovered, dusted lounge, tidied.....gonna start on the bathrooms next.
Had to plan our holiday time for DS so he wants to do science experiments today. They've had a play with toys frozen in ice this morning and he seemed to really enjoy it.
Right the hordes need feeding. Laters :)

Hugs and spoons all round x

Jackie and Molly hope you're both doing ok xx

  • Grey and wet here today :(

DH is on a course, but it is not too far away, just over the road in fact  I won't see him until this evening though as lunch is provided on site.
Then he is at work tomorrow and another course at the same place on Wednesday, which reminds me I must get the big scooter recharged because I have to go to the diabetic clinic that is linked to the hospital for the first time on Wednesday.

Molly and Jackie thinking of you today x x
GonzoAston I hope that your sister gets a good send off x

Has anyone heard from Nars? I hope that he is alright.

  • Good afternoon all,

Cold and wet here first thing, now just cold.

Took DD1 shopping (recovering from leg operation) and put her shopping away and prepared her lunch. Home now, just had a snack and Himself is asleep in the chair. Cat is also having her afternoon siesta.

Roast chicken for dinner with all the trimmings tonight, and then tomorrow 2 grandchildren will come straight from school for their dinner. Our children don't break up until this Friday.

Have been thinking of Jackie and Molly and hoping they are doing well and hope Jackie enjoyed her strawberry milkshake last evening.

    Take care
