New Experian Trial?

Saw someone mention this earlier and I wondered how you can do this? Last time I tried to sign up for the free trial they told me I already had an account (I tried to sign up back in 2008!) and to sign in. I emailed them about it but they said since I'd already had a free trial (I didn't as they never sent the log in details) I'd have to sign up and pay now.
Is there a way to get the free trial in this situation?

They wouldn't send you log-in details, you would create them when you signed up and registered.
I'm not sure if any account you have created is based on your email address or postal address so it maybe worth trying to start a free trial with a different email addr.0 -
Nope I just got "Our records indicate that you have previously signed up for a membership with CreditExpert". Must have it on the address as I used a new email.
Has anyone else managed to successfully do this?0 -

When I get my statutory report they send me a code in the post to login, last time it didn't turn up, I had to chase them and they sent it again by recorded delivery. OP may have had similar situation with activation not arriving, but I'm not sure if they use the same approach for subscription service.
If they are insisting that you have already registered then they probably won't give you another trial, why not just pay the £2 and get the statutory report, it is a full report, just doesn't give you the score which isn't a big deal.0 -
I got my statutory a month ago but I need to check recent updates. Thanks0
