Nothing other than recycling etc flung today.. though I did empty the upstairs bins.. I found my roll of bags for those bins.
DS3 shovelled out Bugs cage
I didn't make any of the phone calls I needed too but I did go up to school to talk to Moomins teacher.. hopegully sorted that issue. She is now having toilet issues related to the cerebral palsy.. this is just no longer funny.. she is struggling to hold it in when she needs to go.. coupled with waiting a bit too long it is making her sore.. no infection or anything. She was too embarrassed to ask to go to the loo at school in front of everyone else so I think we have sorted it now.
Next task.. get DD2's bf sorted with a flat.. I am just going to sort his housing benefit and stuff myself I think.. you know, the stuff his $h!tty parents should be doing.. His dad blocked him on FB when he asked if he could sleep on his sofa!!! what kind of parents do that????
Jacob has chickenpox so we have rubbed the girls on him today.. we counted all his chicken spots.. while he was here he grew one on his forehead so we had a giggle about it.. and checked him for feathers
!!!!!!... Pixie is awake again.. 4 times I've been up there tonight!!! I pick her up she feeds for 5 minutes and goes back to sleep.. It is so irritating.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just popping in quickly to say thanks to Fizz for the info about getting the dye out my hair. I'm using colourb4 and bought it on offer from Mr A (£9.97 each or 2 for £8...so I bought 3 and a colour I may not use now!). My hair is now a medium brown, but I'll attack it tomorrow when DD isn't here. The smell was making her feel ill.
Yesterday DD and I opened her bank account (got texts & emails saying its all officially open today) then hit every charity shop on the way home. DD bought a few DVDs, a couple of CDs and 13 books as well as sweets and a "Tiger Moth" model plane kit for her to make up! Most surprising was when I was trying to find room for her books, she went and pulled out 25 books to go to charity, then a couple of DVDs as well! They're now stashed in my room until the next clear out. :j
Today has been a work and laundry day. DD is going to Ireland tomorrow with ex & his family, and despite knowing about this for a while she still went and wore clothing she wants to take. So 5 loads of laundry and 3 hours ironing (there was uniform in there as well) later she's nearly sorted I think. We need to leave the house between 11.30 and 11.45am tomorrow so we can catch a bus to get us to the airport on time but I still need to pack her suitcase with her so alarms are set for 6am. Then I'm coming home and running errands to the bank, renewing DD's bus pass in town (it expires on the 11th), grabbing some groceries and whatever else I think of since I'll have a day pass for the buses
Friday I am planning on pressure washing the "yarden" for the first time in about 6 years, so not sure what other flying will be as I know that'll take a few hours as I need to shift stuff as well.
Oh well, I best get myself off to bed otherwise I won't be able to get up in the morning. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
wrk done, fairly busy, manager is off in June for Jury service, and informed me I would be runnig the place, so I suggested I got paid for the extra responsibility, 'it will be considered' well they best consider, or I won't be going any extra.................
daily stuff done
hugs
:rotfl:well done kazwookie. I keep working extra hours in my new job as they told me was flexible. However I'm then told I need to be there each morning and can rarely leave early. So I asked should I take TOIL or would they like to pay me and there was a lot of blustering about I should ask before I work extra and they wouldn't like me to work to rule. Turns out the flexibility is one way. Well guess how much extra I will be working in future. Big fat 0 :beer:OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Morning all - not much done yesterday but did three iron-fulls of ironing (my way of measuring how long) in the morning and now paying the price with a sore shoulder.
Vol job at museum was brill - first day doing it myself but with mentor and very busy. Not sure how I'll be next week as on my own!! Thinking of volunteering to work more shifts too - purely because this morning I am 2 and a quarter pounds lighter on the scales!!! At that rate (2.5 previous week) I'll easily hit my target wight by our hols.
Have to go to get cash out and do shopping this morning but then hope to blitz the rest this afternoon.
Fizzwizz - sorry about the b....toe-rags - the garden of the empty house next door was being used by local toe-rags to stash their goods for later pick-up.
Frodders - have a great holiday
Have a good day everyone.July 16 £95/£200

You are all so lovely, thank you
Putting my pragmatic head on, far better it was the garage than our home, and we are all safe which is all that really matters
Onwards and Upwards…
Only 2 hours at the paid stuff today, right after I drop DS2 at school. Afterwards I am heading into town to buy a few bits for our holiday :T Have heard some real horror stories about pickpockets in Barcelona so I need a small cross body bag to hold my essentials, and some flat, comfy shoes as I think we will be clocking up a few miles next week.
I'll get stuck into the list when I return.
Thankyou all again xx0
