Direct line holiday insurance

Hi I have my annual travel insurance as part of my Direct line home insurance. It looks good on paper but is it too good to be true. Should I get a separate travel insurance to make sure I'm covered particularly as I'm going to the States. Thanks

Yes, read the policy!
You may or may not be aware that with travel insurance USA comes in the dearest geographical category.The three geographical divisions I have come across are: europe, worldwide excluding USA & Caribbean and worldwide including USA &C. I think this reflects the medical costs and possibly legal costs too.
If in doubt phone the bank and ask them to check cover. Look at cover available on-line and compare the two.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
