ESA assessment phase and IIDB

Hi
Does anyone know if Industrial injuries disablement benefit is deducted from the assessment phase on ESA?
I know its deducted from income based ESA after the assessment phase but unsure if it is before.

Well I can confirm that its not on contribution assessment rate whilst you are appealing for ESA if that helps.

what its for is a CRU certificate. They have taken too much compensation back from my husband and its currently in for mandatory reconsideration but i am thinking the figures ive worked out are slightly wrong if the esa assessment classes the IIDB as income as ive added it on. It shouldnt matter as they will need to do the calculations but it was just for my information

it is classed as income so will affect all means yesyed benefit.
if its income based ESA, then yes, i would assume that theyd deduct it from assessment rate too
