Which should tell you a lot about the "credit score" you are referring to.
The soft searches are mainly checking your identity and address.
Do you know this for a fact because I have been informed by someone who used to work for a lender that a soft search looks at how a CRA scores you?0 -

But it isn't. You said it doesn't show who your mortgage is with, so by extension it shows NO sevice provider/lender identity details - right?
1. The credit provider's name, and
2. Any financial associate searches you have on your file
...both of which you can see on your copy of the report.
