Can you have 2 credit file entries for the same debt?

Quick question.
I had a debt back in 2006 which defaulted and therefore dropped off my credit file in 2012.
The debt was paid in full and settled in 2013 through a debt collection agency. I now have an entry on my file for this collection company with settled on it (just 1 month entry). But it also has an entry saying DEBT MANAGEMENT PLAN. This will obviously be visible til 2019.
Are they allowed to make this entry for a debt that had already been defaulted and dropped off?

No they can't. Tell them to take it of otherwise you will take them to the FOS and ICO, and will take advice on suing them through the courts.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Ok great, just to be clear they haven't defaulted me for a second time it's just one random settled entry but with the debt management plan note added.
Anyone had any success with getting arrow global to remove credit file entries?0 -
Once the account has gone, it should not return unless there was an error with the initial reporting. So a defaulted account goes 6 years from default date, end of.
As Rizla says, write to them stating they better remove it.:beer:0
